Building a high-standard cleanroom (dust-free workshop) is a systematic undertaking. In addition to decoration and construction, the configuration of hardware equipment is essential. KLC has compiled the following list, categorized by function.

Functional Category List

■ Air handling and filtration system

This is the core of the cleanroom, responsible for providing clean air. It includes KLC pre-/medium-efficiency filters (installed at the front end of the air conditioning unit to intercept large dust particles), KLC high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filters, which determine the final cleanliness level and KLC air conditioning units (AHU) responsible for regulating temperature and humidity.

■ Terminal air supply equipment

The selection is based on cleanliness requirements and airflow design. KLC FFU (Fan Filter Unit) is self-powered and suitable for high-level cleanrooms; KLC high-efficiency air outlets are suitable for general clean areas; and KLC laminar flow hoods are used to provide local Class 100 protection.

■ Personnel and material purification equipment

This is a critical barrier to prevent contamination. It includes KLC air showers (for personnel), KLC pass-through windows (for material transfer), KLC cargo showers (for large items), and KLC hand dryers are included.

■ Local purification and auxiliary equipment

KLC clean booths and clean workbenches can quickly establish microenvironments.; KLC air shower pass-through windows improve pass-through safety; KLC biosafety cabinets are suitable for biological laboratories.

■ Environmental monitoring equipment

The equipment used to verify compliance includes the KLC dust particle counter, KLC differential pressure gauge, and KLC anemometer.

■ Basic process of cleanroom construction

Solution design (determining air quality level and differential pressure) → Equipment selection (calculating air volume) → Construction and installation → Commissioning and testing.
